The Banff Festival of Mountain Films is held over several days every year in Banff, AB. The Banff centre then takes the best films from the festival on a world tour to share the finest in mountain culture and adventure cinematography with the rest of the world.

The Thunder Bay Section is proud to have hosted the World Tour in Thunder Bay for over twenty years, and has boasted the largest single-show attendance in North America. Every January, the showing is held at the Thunder Bay Community auditorium and provides a night of spectacular armchair adventure and an opportunity to share the experience with friends and family.
