The Thunder Bay Section is proud to support responsible stewardship activities in our local climbing areas. Each May, the section participates in an annual spring clean-up and several of our members and volunteer trip leaders donate their time and energy to cleaning up the area along the top and bottom of the Centennial Bluffs, a popular local climbing area.

Section members also make an effort to use spare moments at visits to other crags and climbing areas to remove garbage and reduce the impacts of climbers and other recreationists on the site. The section supports the motto "Pack it in, pack it out".
